Advertising Lead Director

The Job

We’re looking for a highly strategic and hands-on Advertising Lead Director to drive excellence in Amazon PPC, DSP, and emerging adtech solutions across our organization. This role is ideal for a senior advertising leader who thrives at the intersection of performance marketing, client strategy, and organizational enablement. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our advertising organization—leading execution excellence, driving client growth, and ensuring our teams stay ahead of the curve in an evolving adtech landscape.

This position will be responsible for:

  • Lead the organization in PPC execution and bottom-funnel DSP strategy
  • Audit and coach advertising performance across 30+ client accounts, ensuring best-in-class execution
  • Act as the lead strategist on our largest, most complex clients
  • Own and manage adtech partnerships and vendor relationships
  • Maintain and evolve the knowledge base of advertising best practices
  • Build, document, and scale standardized processes, templates, and playbooks, ensuring consistent adoption across the company
  • Facilitate rollouts and training for new adtech platforms to elevate team capabilities and organizational impact
  • Serve as a strategic partner on our largest clients, driving measurable impact on performance and revenue growth
  • Support business development by leaning in on large advertising prospects and
  • pitches
  • Drive budget expansion by identifying and selling additional services (e.g., DSP, Streaming TV, TikTok ads)

Who Are You?

We are looking for individuals with:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, with deep expertise in Amazon PPC, DSP, and adtech platforms
  • Proven track record as a strategist and coach on high-spend, complex advertising accounts
  • Experience building and scaling processes, frameworks, and training programs across large teams
  • Strong understanding of the adtech landscape and ability to manage external partnerships
  • Executive presence and ability to influence both internally and externally with clients
  • Comfortable balancing organizational leadership with hands-on client strategy
  • Strong organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication skills comfort communicating independently and in a remote environment
  • Motivation, self-discipline, and dependability are MUSTS. We give our team significant autonomy and responsibility, and work remotely, so we’re looking for people who have a track record of “owning” projects and driving them to completion

Brand Director

The Job

We have an industry-leading brand management organization with a very strong

knowledge and innovation practice. The ideal leader would actively interface with this, both

feeding new ideas and ensuring the best ideas are spread across the org.

Brand Directors at Cartograph work to develop and manage a team of approximately 8-12 Brand Managers and Specialists and oversee 15-25 different brands. This position provides executive leadership and supports high level strategy to the brands on their teams. The team members that Brand Directors oversee act as the GM for our client's Amazon business and work to improve execution and drive growth on the platform. A Brand Director must feel comfortable driving brand strategy forward through operations and 3PL management, pricing and margin management, forecasting, content/SEO, advertising, and any other items that come up in the process of dealing with Amazon and Instacart. This position requires continuous learning, creative problem solving, analytics, and flexibility. Brand Directors act as the executive point of contact with our clients so exceptional client management skills and communication skills are a must. This is a broad reaching job that gives direct P&L ownership for eight-figures of revenue on Amazon.

Who Are You?

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience supervising, leading, and developing a team is a must – people management and development will be part of this position daily
  • High-level client management skills and experience is a must (building trust, strategic problem-solving, defusing hot situations, contract negotiations, etc.)
  • Amazon, ecommerce, or CPG experience – the ability to lean in and support your team in technical areas and drive higher-level strategy is a must
  • Comfort with analytical thinking, data analysis and advanced Excel proficiency - we are constantly in data and make numbers-based decisions. Grasp of financial analysis and managerial accounting is important to many of the tasks in the role
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills– comfort communicating complex problems with C-suite and founder-level stakeholders
  • Motivation, self-discipline, and dependability. We give our team significant autonomy and responsibility, and work remotely, so we’re looking for people who have a track record of “owning” projects and driving them to completion. This role is one of both strategy and execution – not just delegation
  • Advertising, SEO, marketing, or related experience is a strong bonus
  • 4-year college degree or master’s degree preferred
  • 4-6 years of professional experience, preferably in the Amazon or ecommerce space
  • Passion for life-long learning and problem solving – we live on the cutting edge of eCommerce innovation, and often must self-teach on new topics
